Title: AGU Bridge Program Internship, Fall
Position Type: Full-Time Paid Internship (3 months, mid-September to mid-December)

What the Bridge Program Intern does
* Monitor submissions and uploading them to review portal, creating related spreadsheets to capture reviewer notes, manage AGU Bridge Program submission map/spreadsheet, monitor the bridge inbox to respond to related emails.
* Create doodle polls, calendar invites, assign committee members to related reviews, serve as a notetaker during review meeting.
* Create doodle for onboarding meetings and departmental feedback sessions and monitor doodles and set any appointments.
* Review and organize related notes from each AGU Bridge Partner Proposal Committee reviewer.
* Help manage related email correspondence with successful/unsuccessful departments including but not limited to confirming appointments, sharing related feedback/ meeting agendas, and requests for additional resources.
* Contribute to MOU/SOW draft development by reviewing MOU/SOW template for grammatical and formatting errors.
* Contribute to the MOU/SOW draft development by helping to review submitted proposals to identify necessary items for SOW.

What the Bridge Program Intern brings to the team:
* Undergraduate student, a graduate student, or a recent graduate. Preferred majors include Earth or space sciences or an allied physical or natural science.
* Must be well-organized and skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience, poise, and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with AGU staff, volunteers, and members is also required.
* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Office, Excel), internet browsers, and web search engines. Experience using WordPress is a plus. Mastery in using Excel and knowledge of basic statistical methods is a plus. In-house training will be provided on using the AGU membership database and sending newsletters.
